Dear Bollinger Canyon Families,

Our children face many new opportunities and challenges growing up in today’s environment.  The social and academic standards are different from when we grew up as youths.  What remains constant, however, is the notion that parents would like their child to have the opportunity to succeed and become strong individuals who carry themselves with pride and self-respect.

This is where Bollinger Canyon as a school community shines.  We, as Bollinger Canyon parents, want our children to have the opportunity to succeed and show our support by getting involved.  We support and work in collaboration with other families, teachers and staff to keep our children’s education and personal development a priority.

As your incoming PTA President for this year, I welcome new families to our community on this wonderful journey with your child.  And, to all the returning families, I extend my gratitude for your friendship and continued support that you’ve given to our children and school.

I encourage you to take a moment to note all the programs and events offered by our school and PTA.  We welcome your participation and any volunteer time that you can give.  Your involvement is key to our children’s success.  As many of you have discovered or will discover on your journey, our children’s elementary school years provide the basis for academic and personal success, and the opportunity to create friendships and memories that will endure.
